WHAT’S INCLUDED
What a proper window wash actually involves
Clean glass is easy to promise and easy to get wrong. Here is what I actually do.
Glass, frames and sills
Frames and sills get wiped too — that is where the grime that re-dirties your glass sits.
Squeegee, not a sponge and hope
Squeegee and a clean edge. Streaks come from dirty water and worn rubber, so both get changed out.
Skylights and the hard ones
Skylights, patio covers and second-storey glass — the panes that normally get skipped.
Screens rinsed
Screens get rinsed, so you are not looking at clean glass through a dusty screen.
Exterior focused
Outside is where pollen, rain spotting and road grime land, and where the difference shows.
No runoff down your siding
Runoff gets managed as I work, so you do not get clean windows over streaked walls.
